Fluid Eye® sample information (hydraulic and lubrication oils)
Sample 1 - New oil
Sample 2 - Fluid Eye model
Sample 3 - Fluid Eye model
Sample 4 - Traditional model
New oil (for hydraulic and lubrication use)
- Fresh oil sample with machine manufacturer’s recommendation to change regularly
Used oil (for hydraulic and lubrication use)
- Used oil with machine manufacturer’s recommendation to change regularly
Fluid Eye® model
- This oil’s performance is monitored and maintained leading to several times longer oil lifetime
New but old oil (unused)
- Oil is several years old
Fluid Eye® model
- Oil is old but antioxidant treated leading to extended oil lifetime
Used oil
- Oil that hasn’t been monitored and maintained well leading to shorter oil lifetime than expected
Traditional model
- Traditional maintenance model is usually based on calendar and regular oil changes leading to increasing oil waste and CO2
Traditional operations and maintenance model (calendar-based)
Traditionally lubrication and hydraulic oils are changed regularly based on calendar even if oils lubrication properties haven’t changed. This causes a lot of oil waste, CO2 emissions, unnecessary work and operative costs.
Fluid Eye® model (proactive model)
Fluid’s performance is monitored in real-time or periodically and proactive maintenance actions are taken to minimize impurities in oil and oil’s chemical properties degradation. This leads to:
Maximized oil and machine performance (no unplanned downtimes)
Notable oil lifetime extension and CO2 savings
Reduced maintenance work and costs
